Ok Ladies & Gents the OPEN has arrived! if you haven't heard we are having our own "In House" competition. This competition is for EVERYONE whether you registered online or not. We will be dividing the gym into 2 teams and the team who wins after the 5 weeks will get a T-shirt! The OPEN is a great time to step out of your comfort zone and accomplish things you never thought possible. We also have a few people in the gym, John Fabrizio, ERad, Vince, Kolter, to name a few, that have a good chance of making it to the next level. Lets rally around them and each other and make this Games season a positive one! Get your name on the front whiteboard to be added to a team no later than Tuesday 2.25.14.
We will be programming the OPEN WODS on Fridays. We encourage those that want to be videoed or don't want to feel pressured for time to come to the 5:30pm evening class. We also encourage adult beverages/snacks for after/during on these Friday nights!
There are lots of RULES/STANDARDS regarding these 5 Workouts. Please take the time to be familiar with what is required each week. We will make sure to post the standards videos but make it your responsibility to know what is expected.
As far as JUDGING goes...those that are working toward regionals are required to video each WOD and follow the specific rules for that, please take the time to know what those are. For those of us just wanting to participate we STRONGLY encourage each of you to take the judging course and/or become familiar with the movement standards. You will most likely be judging your neighbor and they you. Be ready to NO REP them if they are not following the standard. We want everyone to participate on the same playing field so lets work together to make sure rules are being followed. Each trainer has taken the judging course and will oversee each class.
