Some of you may have heard that our very own Chad Forsman is in the Denver Hospital battling some unknown infection. Over the weekend chad and his family were in Denver for a hockey game and Chad started complaining of Back pain. After no pain meds would relieve the pain they finally went to the hospital. After an MRI they found an infection around one of his vertebrae. During treatment his heart rate began to increase too rapidly which put him in the ICU with more testing. This is the latest -
Chad Update: worse overnight. At the rounds this morning there were so many different kinds of doctors, neurologist, cardiologist, infectious disease, pulmonologist...they said Chad is a House case. They don't know what's going on. Right now he has sepsis, pneumonia, chest pain, and the worst for him they just had to intibate him as he can't breath. He was mad as he wouldn't be able to drink or talk. They do think now that this is a bacterial infection that is starting to reap havoc on the systems of his body. Staph and Mersa were the words thrown around this morning. They are pumping him full of antibiotics, oxygen and all sorts of pain medication. Chad's parents will be arriving shortly. They told me not to expect him to go home for at least a week maybe two. Thank you so much for all of the kind words, prayers and healing thoughts they mean a lot to us.
